The Chuck E Cheese website kind of advertises coupons, but the holds out unless you supply them with a lot of information. I know a lot of people are skeptical about giving out their email address, name, location, AND child’s name and birthday. Chuck E Cheese was the brain child of the Atari founder, Nolan Bushnell. While working for Atari, Bushnell founded Chuck E Cheese’s Pizza Time Theater. He felt that there weren’t enough places that young people could go to play video games and also enjoy a family atmosphere. The locations also were a great place to market the Atari brand video games and arcade systems.
Bushnell also had a love for amusement parks and the Walt Disney Company. Much of the designs and ideas came as an homage to Walt Disney via the animatronic animals to the amusement park type rides that were in the restaurants. Nolan Bushnell desperately wanted to work for Walt Disney upon graduation, but was turned down multiple times. This was his opportunity to create something in a similar likeness.
Bankruptcy was actually the accidental step that got Chuck E Cheese to expand to be as large as it is today. After claiming bankruptcy, Showtime Pizza (the biggest competitor) purchased Chuck E Cheese, assuming all of their debts. Over time, Showtime Pizza would re-image all of their locations to be Chuck E Cheese locations as well.

Like I said earlier, it is fairly easy to come across Chuck E Cheese coupons, so long as you are willing to give up a little personal information.
