Dunkin’ Donuts Coupons 2012

Dunkin DonutsCoupon – Dozen Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunkin Donuts K-Cup Printable Coupon

Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins are both co-owned by Dunkin’ Brands.  This is why you may see a lot of locations that share both Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins.  It is sort of like the dessert version of a KFC and Pizza Hut combo location.

You can usually find a great deal on doughnuts, munchkins, and coffee if you know where to look.

Dunkin’ Donuts Coupons

Ever since I was a kid, loving my Dunkin’ Donuts, I remember helping my mother pull coupons for Dunkin’ Donuts out of the weekly sales papers so we could get a dozen doughnuts for Sundays.  Now, I have to buy my own doughnuts, and have to clip and print coupons on my own.

Lots of Dunkin’ Donuts coupons are given away locally as most locations are owned by franchisors.  These coupons can usually be found in local ad circulars with coupons for various companies.  There are also a lot of nationally run deals that are available via websites like Printable Restaurant Coupons 2012 and the Dunkin’ Donuts DD Perks Rewards email list.

Like the rest of this site, you can click the links at the top of this post to get the most current Dunkin’ Donuts coupons.  There will be plenty of coupons for coffee, doughnuts, munchkins, and more for me to share.

DD Perks Rewards

There is a free program offered by Dunkin’ Donuts that gets you access to lots of coupons, promotions, news, and specials.  Just by signing up you’ll be able to receive a free medium beverage and then another one for your birthday.

Contests and Promotions

Dunkin’ Donuts seems to regularly add new contests that are fun for their customers.  You can find a lot of them by following them on Twitter or by checking out the newest Dunkin’ Donuts commercials.  Over the years they have had specials like the ongoing Caught Cold campaign that gives away prizes to individuals who are “caught” carrying around an iced coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts.

Dunkin’ Donuts vs. Krispy Kreme

One of Dunkin’ Donuts largest competition is Krispy Kreme, although the two companies don’t necessarily compete over most regions.  Dunkin’ Donuts has a stronghold over the donut shoppers of the northeast United States while Krispy Kreme has loyal customers in the south and to the west.  The doughnut flavors and textures are so different that the regional tastes keep each company thriving while keeping the other from being able to penetrate the market.

Dunkin’ Donuts vs. Starbucks

Krispy Kreme would sound like a bigger competitor to Dunkin’ than Starbucks, because, well one is a doughnut shop while the other sells coffee.  The business model has changed a bit over the years and the popularity of coffee has risen dramatically over the years for Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.  Over half or their sales now come from coffee, making Starbucks the biggest competitor financially.

Dunkin’ Donuts Products

Baked Goods

This has been the pride and joy of Dunkin’ Donuts since their inception.  The company is based on cooking up baked goods that include doughnuts, fritters, muffins, bagels, crullers, Munchkins, biscuits, pastries, cookies, brownies, Bagel Twists, etc.

Breakfast Items

There are various breakfast items now available at most Dunkin’ Donuts locations.  You can get different breakfast sandwiches and they also serve hash browns as a side or a meal if you prefer.

Sandwiches

Since people cannot eat doughnuts for meals, or at least they shouldn’t, DD has included oven toasted flatbread sandwiches and wraps to the menu.

Coffee Beverages

This actually became the money maker for Dunkin’ Donuts with more than half of their sales coming from coffee products.  The main sellers are coffee and iced coffees.  You can also order coffee in bulk, via the Box O’ Joe.  They also sell espressos, Cappuccino, Lattes, and “turbos”.

Other Beverages

If you aren’t a fan of coffee, they offer other options for drinks.  You can order hot chocolate, tea, vanilla chai, and Dunkaccinos for hot beverages.  Cold beverages include Coolattas and iced teas.
