About Medieval Times

The first time I ever heard of Medieval Times was when I was watching that epic scene in Cable Guy where Jim Carrey battled Matthew Broderick in the arena.  This place looked like a lot of fun, but I didn’t get to go for a long time since I lived in New York and there were none around.

Finally on a trip to Orlando, Florida I got a chance to go with my family.  We didn’t have much money and only went because we found a Medieval Times coupon at our hotel.  and I was kind of disappointed that I couldn’t get into the arena, but was amazed at the great show and delicious food.

Medieval Times

When you go to Medieval Times, you sit in an auditorium around a dirt ring.  Your servers are dressed in Medieval clothing and usually act out their part.  Food is served with no utensils, because there were none in the 11th century, when the show is supposed to take place.

Medieval Times Dinner and Show locations cannot be missed when driving by.  Each of the 8 locations in the United States are designed like a replica 11th century castle.  There is another location in Toronto that is actually housed in a housed inside a Beaux-Arts structure that was built in 1912.During your “feast” you’ll get to watch acts on the big stage including jousting, sword fighting, horse back riding, and more.Of course this is bound to come with a pretty big price tag.  You get a huge meal and get to watch a highly elaborate show.  That’s where Medieval Times couponscome in handy!I just signed up for the “King’s Court” email updates to keep me in loop about upcoming printable Medieval Times coupons.  I’m actually getting a discount next month because I joined the “Birthday Fellowship” and it just so happens that my birthday is coming up.  I should be getting a Medieval Times birthday couponbefore for me to use for a discount. The 2012 Medieval Times rates (without coupons) are as follows:
